I am a Ph.D. student in the Low Frequency Radio Group at Georgia Tech. I am pursuing a research project under the supervision of Dr. Morris Cohen and under the auspices of The Charles Stark Draper Laboratory. The object of the research is to develop new de-noising and signal source separation algorithms for sferic-induced noise in maritime radio navigation & communications channels.
My research and studies are highly interdisciplinary; they lie at the intersection of telecommunications, electromagnetics, digital signal processing, and machine learning. For my undergraduate studies, I earned a B.S. in computer science with a minor in mathematics and a B.S. in audio engineering and sound production from the Jacobs School of Music.
I am a current member of IEEE (parent organization), current member of the Intellectual Property Student Organization (at Georgia Tech), former member of AES (Audio Engineering Society, student branch at IU Bloomington), and a former member of SCALE (semiconductor workforce development program).
